As an Export Manager at Astel Medica, you will spearhead our international sales initiatives, excluding the BELUX region. Your primary mission will be to craft and implement effective sales strategies across diverse global markets while optimizing our customer portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Shape the export strategies for both physical and e-commerce channels, driving the global reach of the Astel Medica product range.
Market Expansion: Lead sales activities in key European markets (France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands) and selected international territories. This includes nurturing existing relationships and actively prospecting for new opportunities.
Customer Engagement: Anticipate customer needs through comprehensive market research, engage in commercial negotiations, and build lasting customer loyalty.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct competitive analyses to tailor market-specific approaches and identify potential new customers.
Trade Show Representation: Attend international trade shows to establish new contacts and promote our brand.
Financial and Performance Reporting: Meet financial targets and report on your activities to management, ensuring the profitability and success of your portfolio.
Regulatory Coordination: Collaborate on product registration and marketing authorization files with our regulatory affairs team.
Routine Tasks: Manage order forecasts, product surveys, information requests, and coordinate with other departments (R&D, sales administration, etc.).
Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and needs through various communication channels (email, phone, Teams, on-site visits).
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts under the terms agreed with your line manager.
Frequent Travel: Travel extensively to meet customers and attend international events, contributing to our export business growth
Your Profile:
Educational Background: Degree in Commercial Management with an international focus or equivalent proven experience
Experience: At least 4 years of experience as an Export Manager or in a similar role.
Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of foreign pharmaceutical markets.
Skills: Proficient in marketing and sales techniques, excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, adaptability to different cultures, and sound knowledge of commercial law and international taxation.
Languages: Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using the Office Suite.
Personal Attributes: Results-oriented, organized, excellent communicator, competitive, responsible, and flexible with frequent travel.
