Oral rehydration solution for infants, babies, children, adults and seniors
ORS Bactecal® is a powdered food for medical use intended for oral rehydration. It has been specifically formulated to cover the nutritional needs from infants to seniors suffering significant loss of fluids caused by diarrhoea or vomiting.

ORS Bactecal®
ORS Bactecal® is a food for special medical purposes developed for oral rehydration in cases of significant fluid loss. It has been specially formulated to meet the nutritional needs of infants and is also suitable for children, adults, and seniors. In addition, ORS Bactecal® helps prevent dehydration.
Using ORS Bactecal® rehydration food for medical use
ORS Bactecal® combines glucose, minerals, live good bacteria (Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and Lactobacillus reuteri), and zinc. This combination helps maintain a balanced level of hydration – a key element of wellbeing at any age.
You should start oral rehydration as soon as diarrhoea or vomiting appears.
To prevent dehydration : dissolve one sachet in 250 ml of water and drink 10 ml/kg of body weight after each loose stool.
To rehydrate : the solution can be drunk freely in the first few hours, remembering that a maximum of 8 sachets can be administered per day. Dissolve and administer at least 15 to 20 ml/kg of body weight per hour.
In cases of vomiting, the oral rehydration solution should be offered and administered regularly in small quantities. Once diarrhoea, vomiting and dehydration have improved, gradually reduce intake of ORS Bactecal®. ORS Bactecal® should be used until diarrhoea and vomiting ceases.
It is suitable for infants, adults, and elderly individuals. It is formulated without lactose, gluten, or soy.
